Shea Malone serves as Tax Development Director at CTI, where she supports tax development initiatives through strategic analysis, regulatory insight, and a strong legal foundation.
Shea earned a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor from Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law, building a solid academic base in legal research, statutory interpretation, and tax planning principles.
Over the course of a 15‑year career, Shea has gained experience across in‑house corporate tax roles, Big Four tax consulting, and law firm practice. This includes six years at Ernst & Young, a Big Four professional services firm, where she focused on federal tax planning, as well as experience in private law firm practice and corporate environments.
Shea is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, multiple Federal District Courts, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, providing valuable perspective on both tax planning and tax controversy matters.
